An image search will tell me that it has founded 100s of 1000s of pictures, but will only display about 36 images and then nothing more. Upon reboot, Windows did run the Chkdsk and supposedly restored/fixed a few things. Since removal, the computer has been rebooted. I used Malwarebytes to remove all of the above. I ran Glary, and it found 100s of registry and shortcut errors, which I left alone. Because of this, I did a system restore and then ran several different programs in an attempt to remove this piece of malware. Computer Associates did not detect this virus, and once installed, could not be initiate a scan. A fake WindowsDefender was also brought up, wanting me to buy a copy. The virus then disabled my Task Manager, MSConfig, Rainmeter, and disabled many other pieces of my desktop. Upon running this program, the program disappeared. This email contained a fake PDF, in which, being tired, I stupidly opened. I was expecting a package from USPS and sure enough, in my junk mail folder, was a fake email from USPS. Yesterday morning I am sad to say that I picked up my first virus in several years.
